    Omega Boutique Planet Ocean

Tried on the new PO Chronographs last night all colour ways.
Have to say I really liked them.
Just wish they were not so thick at 19mm.
Love the dial and the finish on the bezel.

I already own x 2 PO but prefer the thickness of the 1st iteration.

    My other chunky monkey

That’s quite a chunk at 19mm thick and 45.5mm case! It does look good, but for me the non chrono 43.5mm is the sweet spot in the PO range.

Yep Omega have managed to consistently ruin that model since 2012

The first non chrono versions with the 2500 movements are fantastic , case shape very similar to the 165.024 Seamaster 300 that everyone loves, little nods to vintage designs but a totally new omega watch sadly it’s lost its way ever since

It is chunky , but it is comfortable on my arm with a good quality strap.
    Still tempted though..

If it’s for you, go for it!
Certainly looks different and quite possibly would be a great addition to your current collection of PO Chrono’s! The Metas movements also give incredible accuracy for a mechanical movement!
Out of curiosity is a discount available or is it strictly at list?

Looks good, and if you’re happy, go for it. Personally, I’d choose one of the older simpler / sleeker models on the second hand market and get 99% the bling at X% the price. Good luck and enjoy whatever!

They look great but that's the depth of a lug width. It's going to feel very top heavy.

Been reacquainting myself with my chunky PO to gauge how I feel about adding another to my collection. TBH on the rubber strap it has never had that “top heavy” feel unlike a Deepsea that I have.

I have managed to get discounts on my other 2 planet oceans , but that was many years ago. I have purchased a number of Omegas from Trafford centre but with staff changes the “relationship ” has gone and they are non too keen to agree to discounts. Having said that if I do decide to buy there is no harm in trying.
The last Omega I purchased was a white dial Speedmaster racing and I got a leather strap and deployment as the discount.
