    PRS 18Q Battery and reseal

Hi, my prs 18q battery has finally given up and trying to find somewhere near me (Somerset) to reseal it to 300mtrs is impossible.
Just wondered if anyone knew anywhere I could get this done.
Also need the bezel fixing if anyone can help with that too, I’d appreciate it.
    Thanks for any info.
This watch means a lot to me

Personally, I don't think there's the need to test it for 300m. It has two substantial o-rings on the caseback. If these are not compromised on a 3 or 5 ATM test, I'm pretty sure they'll be good for 300m. How deep are you planning on taking it? Can't help with the bezel.

    Hi Com,

Mitka watch at Ringwood might be the guy to use as I'm considering selling him my 20 Bar / 2MPa wet tester.

    Regards

    Bry

P.S. the safety valve pops at 19Barish, good for testing to 160metres-180metres easy!

    Re the bezel
    What is the problem?
I asked the Boss (timefactors) for a new click spring as the teeth on mine sheared off meaning it no longer clicked. Eddie kindly sent me a couple of replacements but if I remember correctly the maker was no longer making the parts for the 18.
If that is a the problem it might be worth reaching out.

Yeah it just spins freely both ways now and has done for some time.

Let me check in the watch parts box
Timefactors sent me 2 click springs and I can’t remember if I included the unused one when I sold the watch

Edit, nope sorry it’s not in the box so would have been sent to the new owner, Timefactors would be your only option.

I bought John's PRS18A and just checked the box. The click springs are there so I can send you one if you pm me your address.

    This.

I was told by a repair specialist that the seals take you to 100m and the case integrity the rest of the way. If it passes a 10atm test you're good to go because there's no way a PRS18 case is going to give up the ghost at only 30atm.

Looking for it gave me the opportunity to do some tidying in the bits and bats boxes....hours later I resurfaced, realising I am utterly mad.

All well here, thanks. Hope with you too.
