    eSIM

Anyone use one in their phone?

I have a pixel 6 pro and an old 2xl which I use as a work phone. Was thinking if I could turn my work phone SIM into an eSIM and just use my pixel 6 pro for both personal and work.

If I can, does it show up when a call or text come through which SIM is being used?

I’m an apple user but I assume Pixel works similarly. On apple, you can select which sim to use for different contacts. You can also turn lines on and off…so for example, if you don’t want to be disturbed on a work line in your own time, you can disable that line. I don’t think incoming calls and texts tell you which line is being used though.

That all sounds fine apart from not distinguishing between which call or txt is coming through which SIM.

On an iPhone you would know which number is being called.
    Others are likely similar.

I had dual Sim Android (Galaxy S10) and it worked smoothly.

You could set the default Sim for individual contacts or choose when calling out.

I would expect it works better still now.
