    Rolex Valuation Advice

    Hi all,
After some advice if any of you would be in the know.
5 years ago I inherited a Rolex oyster datejust from my grandfather who sadly passed away, I wore it on my wedding day and since has only been worn a handful of times as it’s not the kind of watch I’d wear day to day. I am thinking about selling it and putting the money towards a different watch. I took the watch to the local AD and they said they wouldn’t be willing to purchase it from me as the strap would need replacing and they would want to sell it in a brand new condition.
So my question is in your guys opinion how much should I be looking to get for a watch in this condition and age if I was to take it to an independent watch dealer or listed it myself?
It comes with all the papers and spare links but the only thing that is missing is the clasp tag.
Many thanks in advance, I’ve attached photos.

Pictures taken with potatoes don't tend to garner great results.

    Is it a 36mm 16233?
