We simply can't ALL be working hard today, it just isn't feasible.

Preparing myself for a hard day of lounging in 30°C sunshine, swimming in the pool, infinite beers and amazing food. Hard life. At least I have my Vanuatu to aid me on the perilous and arduous journey.

Im trying to slow my watch churn as I find some don’t get worn for months on end. To this end I’ve been wearing this Eterna Tangaroa all week. Although not his timepiece it reminds me of my maternal grandfather who was an avid sailor who greatly admired Thor Heyerdahl. Tangaroa was a follow up expedition in 2006 as a continuation of Heyerdahls work. One day I must add a Kon-Tiki to my collection.
Besides the pseudo emotional connection, the watch itself is a thing of beauty. Textured grey dial, blued hands and an amazingly comfortable bracelet.

    Anyway enough waffle. HAGWE.

Pagani (not really) Design (not much) 'Mission to Alaska' homage today.

Despite being a PD (The brand name irritates me no end), it's a nice little watch with a decent Seiko quartz movement and the dial, which looks white in photos, is actually silver, while the red bezel is sapphire.

Yes Ben, it is. The original one is a tad too big for my wrist.
I’m going to be brave and enquire about a new JLC bracelet for it!!!
