That is very cool. Class act.
Older picture, 2017. The guy didn't want to pay insane money for the transport of the Le Mans Porsche and the Bentley. So he decided to to it all 'in hand'. He asked the insurance company if it was okay. They didn't mind and he had a bespoke tow bar made for his Bentley. Making good use of the Bentley's endless amount of torque.
This is the guy - has an mazing car collection!.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Looks more like something you'd do for likes and follows on the socials rather than just being stingy with transport costs.
Two fine automobiles though and the 962 is road registered -
Only watched that last week, (Jonny Smith fan) What I liked about him, was his love of all cars like a Turbo Montego, Golf GTI Triumph 2500 PI which was immaculate.
Martin Overington is a successful CEO of a Building and Refurbishing Company with many Blue Chip clients.
^^^ I admired the fact that he'd reinstated the Rolls Royce grill to the beast - and tackled it smoking copiously!
Great idea,I would have done it the other way around though that would have been fun.
I've met Martin several times when he owned (maybe still does?) the Hotel de France in La Chartre-sur-le-Loir.
I've also watched him race the Bentley at Goodwood - properly sideways out of the chicane.
He's a bit of a character.
