I had this serviced in January 2023 by Hamilton but apart from today I've rarely worn it but I still love it.
I think in total I wore it 3, maybe 4 times last year and even then no longer than 1 day.
What do you rarely wear but still love?

I've got an ND sub tucked away in the cupboard.
I still think it's a beautiful watch so don't want to part with it but hate that my vision is so poor I need to put glasses on to check the time.
Apple watch with large numbers is in permanent use,
I am ashamed to say I have more watches I don’t wear than ones I do wear. The pile below are watches that have been worn less than twice in the last 12 months, some have been worn once in the last 4/5 years - one has never been worn
Some are projects (the 6309s and ATPs), others are old with hard to replace parts so are worn sparingly to help preserve them
Others I just don’t really wear for any other reason than others always get more of a look in, but they sit as part of a sub collection (Marathon GP, SandY, CWC W10s)
Others I don’t wear because they are Russian - yes horological racism due to the war in Ukraine
Some are cheapies bought to test the water for similar watches or just for a bit of fun.
For some reason I don’t want to get rid of any though. I get enjoyment out of all of them.
I'm mainly a collector so I have a hundred odd watches I never wear with only about an extra half a dozen everyday wearers if I'm honest.
It's not a problem as the unused lot are just money in the bank and have appreciated well over the years.

To answer the OP's question, for me I try and wear all my watches, some of the time. But, I tend to favour the lower value watches to my higher end on a day to day basis (especially during the working week). Out of my more valuable watches, maybe my Rolex's get the lease time, but I still love them. Conversely, my wife wears her Rolex everyday, 7 days a week and has done so for the last 20 years.
One of my oldest and most loved, even though I rarely wear it. I could never sell it.

For me, it’s these two. I have a fairly large rotation and wear everything often but these get minimal wear. I love having them both in my collection but I’ve come to the realisation that I always reach for a non chronograph 90% of the time.
All of my gen1? Monsters.
I rarely wear this these days ...
Maybe that'll prompt me to wear it this week...

My Omega SM 300m co-axil falls into this category, I rarely wear it in fact, I probably haven't worn it in the last 5 years (had the piece much longer) but would never sell it as it was a wedding present and was my daily for a long time.....still ticks and keeps accurate time.

I don’t wear my Speedmaster Apollo 11 30th anniversary for some reason but like to own it especially as it has my date of birth engraved on the back thanks to Omega.

I felt I had to have one really given the significance of the date to me and that I was named after the great man. I apparently “landed” a couple of hour or so after that time though.

I love my white dial Air-King 14000 but the crown is so small it’s a beggar to set and so it’s little used.
I'd be up for that.
Worn every day for 18 years until I stumbled upon this forum. Now never worn as I find it not easy to read, but treasured as it was an engagement gift from my wife. I overlooked a Sub to buy this one.

I bought this Swiss Wenger Commando around 1999-2000. It's a great-looking watch on the wrist and the dial is very readable. It wears very comfortably, too. I feel 'bad' that I hardly ever wear it because I'm usually wearing a new acquisition.

No bracelet stretch, never polished, never opened and the bezel is turning to navy now.
I wear it on special days only.
It's my favourite watch ever.
My 99.1 tends to only come out on special occasions
The lack of quick set date means I wear the Certina less often than I should
Otherwise most of my watches get worn a fair bit.

Like many it seems, I have an entire watch box full of items that only rarely see the light of day, and again in-common with many are pieces that are kept chiefly for sentimental reasons - among those a defunct Seiko SQ quartz from 1978 bought for me by my mum will always keep its place. Similarly the super-pretty (to my eyes!) Christopher Ward 'Bluebird' SE chrono my wife bought me for my 50th, now a decade ago almost to the day, and only just on its second new battery.
She'd remembered my love for all things speed-record and Campbells related, and since she was working in San Francisco at the time, arranged a first class flight over, and presented me with the watch on my birthday - and then a week-long road-trip followed: wonderfully memorable, and still feels like it just happened yesterday!
I've had this since new, circa '93 or 94. It's a lovely thing but the crown is just so bloomin fiddly, so it rarely gets worn. I'd never get rid of it though - sentimental reasons.

Very rarely wear my Sub 16800 at all now but it was first grail watch and i could never part with it. The only consolation is when i do put it on it feels like a special occasion.
I just had the battery changed and thought that I must have worn it like four times in the last two years. It is nice, comfortable to wear, but twotone is not really my style most of the time. It's also in such a great shape that I worry about it a bit.

Eddie's PRS 9 is one of my very favourite watches, which I consider myself very lucky to have nabbed. However, I find I just don't wear it that often. Maybe this will prompt me to do so.

Bog standard watches, no longer worn, but still very attached to.
Seiko quartz, very late 70s and 80s wearer, a present from a sibling. Also had a Swatch during this period but swapped it for a greasy, old fur ushanka in a vodka haze in Leningrad.
Momento by Aldo Rossi, workday wearer during the 90s and a Hamilton Khaki 9721 automatic, something for the weekend.

This Seiko "Sealion", I'm rarely in the mood to wear a vintage watch, but there's a number of things I love about this one
I realised I hadn’t worn the 5146 for quite a while as not suited to gardening duties. However it is the weekend so wore it down to the local for café da manhã. I am curious how it handles the leap year so will wear at least until after the 29th February!
