Due to visist Vietnam soon...Hanoi and Da Nang.
I may require the services of a translator or some local knowledge as we will be travelling to a few remote areas to visit some local workshops.
Wanted to ask if anbody has a trusted contact or any recommendations for translation or other similar services?

Google Translate
We traveled the length of Vietnam independently via train over a month, didn’t have any translation services… plenty of English spoken.
I travelled from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh a couple of years ago by motorbike. English is spoken everywhere. Met a couple of really good guides. Guides who did food tours, Cu Chi and the Mekong Delta. I can pm you their WhatsApp if you're interested. Highly recommend Hanoi especially around Hoan Kiem Lake at weekend when the traffic is shut off. When you cross the roads in any city just go. Do not hesitate, do not wait. You'll be there all day otherwise! They will see you and avoid you (mostly!).
Thank you for responses and the PMs.
The workshops we are visiting - I have had initial chats with and there is a language barrier. Hence, the requirement for a translator.
Sadly, not sure will get much chance for tourism!
Any recommended hotels also appreciated, if anyone has been to these locations.
Good to know we are there January next year.
Boss,
There are many travel companies in Da Nang you should contact them for a translator or guide.

Will message you buddy and let’s have a chat, my bestest holiday.
It’s a beautiful place full of beautiful people.

My eldest lad & I also did Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh on bikes in 2018. We went to several fairly remote places where nobody spoke English & we had to use Google translate & plenty of pointing at pictures when buying food. Trying to buy chain lube for our bikes was particularly challenging.
