Battery life seems better, been on 17.3 RC (which is essentially the same) since last week

MAC OS update to Sonoma 14.3 also available.
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

I’ve updated on the release date (never bothered with the betas) ever since I can remember and never had a single issue, touch wood!

Doesn’t the device(s) notify after a day or two that there is an update available?

Yes, if you have auto update enabled.

It’s well worth enabling the new stolen phone protection that locks out changing the passcode and Apple ID password for an hour and requires biometric authentication if you’re not at home/work. Gives you a chance to disable the phone and stops stolen Apple accounts. Very important protection for your photos etc.

Thanks - missed this was a feature. Just done it on both phones.

Haven't had a problem with any public beta for many a year, most of the time its a 90% perfect less that which is reported.

Without beta testers the over cautious wouldn't have the perfect solution that always needs an update or 4 to tweak to 100% after being deemed safe anyway!

I still won’t put a beta on my main phone that’s used for banking!
