Leather recommendations for IWC chrono

I love this watch but haven’t quite sorted how it sits with me.
I have tried NATOs and various canvas options, none of which are quite right.

I am maturing into being able to wear a leather strap (previously avoided, seemed a bit old duffer) and reckon this could wear one well… but now, where to go for the perfect (lol) strap!

I like a couple from The Strap Tailor, as per below, but open to suggestions, as these are not cheap (although you can bespoke the length, stitching and padding).
I do not like contrasting stitching, nor the metal stud things IWC do.
I don’t want it too thin, needs a touch of padding - and should taper at least 2mm down to the clasp.
(Watch is 20mm, high sided between lugs, so could take a thicker strap.)

One very few watches in my opinion where faux vintage and modern lume works really well.
I'd suggest sending Pav a message and seeing what he could make for you. Custom made at a very reasonable price .

Those are beautiful straps but I always think an IWC pilot style watch looks best on black leather.

Best on black leather. The strap tailor does a lovely pilots style black leather strap that would suit it well.

Funnily enough, I’ve been mulling over that exact strap in Green (to pop on my green–dialled Chrono 41).
