That is a work of art. Beautiful!
You must feel like a dog with two dicks
Entered MG ownership. 1970 BGT, restored 96, painted in a Jaguar red and a new interior. Uprated to fast road spec in 2006 with a 1950cc unleaded engine with balanced 717 cam and Vernier timing gear plus brake servo and sports exhaust. Passed its MOT last evening with no advisories.

Lovely!
I have owned two:
A 1972 BGT in standard trim and tune
A 1973 factory chrome bumper BGT V8
Both great cars and you will have lots of fun.
Avoid salted roads and remember to oil the dash pots!
That really does look fantastic. Enjoy!
Brilliant!
That example looks lovely!
In a word : Delicious.
Sent through the ether by diddling with radio waves.
Lovely
Nice colour combo. Looks the dog’s dangler’s. Enjoy. It’s a great feeling owning a piece of British engineering from a great era.
Wow - that's beautiful!
Looks superb - enjoy.
….not at all jealous.

Lovely, enjoy!
Welcome to the club, I have a 71 B. Yours looks lovely excellent colour combination, electric windows?
Oh my life that’s beautiful never owned one but my old man did he had a hell of a game keeping my out of it. Love it congrats.
Lovely car, had a couple short term through work, wire wheels took some amount of caring for and never got them balanced quite right. Enjoy.
Nice catch. Interior looks stunning.
Lovely, I've had a couple, door locks seemed to be a recurring problem, on one I had to open hatch shove door open from inside and run round before door swung shut! The Interior on yours looks brilliant, wht they should have been when new from the factory. Cheers, John B4
Nice one! I’ve fully restored two GTs in the distant past, I’ve owned my current MGB Roadster for 8 years and done lots of work on it over that time, I know these cars inside out and despite a few shortcomings they’re a superb classic to own. A properly uprated engine makes a big difference!
Golden rule is to never use them when there’s salt on the roads.
Enjoy.

That's very nice. Put a roadster next to it in the garage and you'll have all bases covered.
Thats properly nice.

Ben

Great choice! Too often, the GT is ignored! And I think it looks equal the 'normal' B; it's simply a great design.
I know a lady, now nearly 80 y/o or so who owns a BGT since new! Orange, black interior. She drove and drives it every day. I suggested that we should chisel her out of the car when she pulls up in her car. Her age and graciously getting in and out of the car don't match well anymore. But hey, it shows her love for the BGT.
Normal maintenance will certainly help for many miles to come!
Have a full service done by a good shop before you start making the miles and check all the fuses. Replace iffy ones with the correct 'amps' when you're in doubt.
I prefer the BGT to the B, just as I prefer the e-type coupe to the open top. Yours looks to be a cracker, congratulations and enjoy!
What a beauty. Take good care of it.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
That does look very nice indeed, especially the interior. Lovely thing!
Thanks all. Been having a ball in it right up until a puncture earlier. Luckily, copper topped hammer in the boot!
