Well the 1980 would be about 20k I think maybe a bit more. (Wrong second hand on the 80 with a sterile case back) 82 about the same.
    85 possibly 5/7k
The 94 SBS would be pushing 5/7k I would have thought (not many issued that year). So it’s not a million miles out.
Buying the instant collection takes the fun out of the chase though

    Wow that’s pretty cool
Some high values going on sinnlovers post I wonder how much my prototype Royal Navy clearance diver would be worth not that I’m selling it as really enjoying wearing it

Can you imagine trying to get that past the missus. £82k on a box of watches that all look the same!

    Some lovely pieces in there.

The all look the same, the Mrs would not notice. That’s my excuse anyway!

Not sure £82k for what she would think is a single watch would go down any better.

I thought that originally but I don’t think it’s out of the question.
There are some very hard to find autos there, and the early sbs just never come up.
I’ve got nearly all of them myself, and some other rare issued British divers so I know what I (think) mine are worth.
I guess we’ll just see how long they take to sell.

If it’s a “bulk buy” you get a discount, in this case it’s a “collection” so there’s probably a premium ;)

Nice set though, and the ‘82 watch is a hell of a catch.
