unapproved visitor message

got a PM today and its showing in my in-box as unapproved visitor - although Ive deleted the message I'm still getting the notification of a new message but its this unapproved visitor message - anybody know how to clear this so my in-box notifier shows reality again?

I've had the same for a while.
Tried to get rid of it but couldn't.
I wonder if it's the same person.

Try clearing your whole folder - bottom of message area - you can export your messages first if you want to keep them. Maybe that will do the trick?

Hi Martyn, tried this, now have an empty folder but still the pesky message about unapproved visitor as a new message notification.

I saw this on another forum - What you need to do is click on your profile, it will take you to the visitor msg screen. Select the message using the check box and then scroll down, you will see Moderation Tools. Select approve messages.
