    Show me your Speedmasters

I'm on my second Speedmaster now. Years back I had a 1990 model which I liked a lot, but the lack of date erked me (then), I just don't need a date complication now so I acquired a very nice 3861 with a sapphire crystal and case back.

I'm completely in love with it, and I wear it every day (IWC goes on in the evening). The bracelet is so massively excellent especially with the micro adjust. It's a beauty.

So, show me your Speedmasters; any vintage, any variant.

A watch with a date is of no use in my 60s.

The 'Tintin' was a short-lived attempt at a collaboration with The Hergé Foundation. The text on the case back is in red, which is a nice touch.

I have a couple. First, a 1964 Ed White. I have the original bracelet and No. 6 end links but have it on a modern strap and deployant.

Second, I have a Dark Side of the Moon which, IMHO, is a simply stunning watch.

Bought this from SC a good while ago, before the prices became unrealistic.

I hope aliens on distant worlds are enjoying their Omegas too.

Blimey, that mk 5 with what looks like a 5100 is just lovely
. The rest are not too shabby either, but no Speedmasters are, eh?

The prototype X-33 was marked as a flightmaster and featured a Seamaster style bracelet, but it wasn't long before it joined the Speedmaster family.

One of only two watches I have bought new that has survived in my small collection for over 15 years. The 3753.50, which replaced a 3750 (yes, I prefer the sapphire):

And my other Speedmaster, the X-33. My avatar and one of my most worn too:

Both classics in their own way.

None right now, but of the many I've owned...

One of my biggest flipping regrets - a perfect ST145.022 that I've not seen bettered (I'd love to have it back, if the current owner is reading this)...

And a gorgeous Ed White - only sold as I was going through some personal trauma at the time, and decided to sell a shedload of material possessions that I felt any kind of connection to (there's a lesson there, I guess)...

Hijacking this slightly - anyone got one of the Ti speedmasters they can share good photos of and an opinion?

I used to have an 1861 but thought it was a bit of a lump so sold it on. When the 3861 came along, the small changes made a big difference to me and it’s been part of my 3 watch collection ever since.

Only this 105-012 65 at the moment, previously owned at least a dozen different variations - wish I’d kept a couple of course!

    Thanks,

    We haven`t had a triple date yet so here`s one;

I bought it new in 2002 and still have it.
It`s OK but i regret not buying a Speedy Pro that i was originally intending to buy. Especially as i could of had one for ~£1200.

There's something of a retro-futuristic aesthetic on this electric Speedsonic from the eclectic world of the Speedmaster

Strangely I was looking for a Reduced as they were going for about 40% of the price of a Moon. But I really wanted the Moon so I decided just to go for it. I'm glad I did as if I hadn't I'd have always looked at it wishing it was a Moon.

Just the one for me. I seem to be in a constant cycle with this. It stays in the box for months, I think about moving it on so wear it for a few days to decide, then stick it back in the box for a couple of months.

Well, not as exotic as most of the examples here, but it was the first "good" chronograph I ever bought, and with the bombproof 7750 movt. It has served me well since the 1980's(?), when I bought it. Currently off for its second service:

    I used to have these:

125 - an impressive hunk of metal coupled with a nice movement and dial.
