    Marvel/DC Comics expert wanted.

Anyone know anything about Marvel/DC/ Image comics?

I have come by a bundle of these (must be around 60 , seem to be ex-libris!) and have no clue as to their worth if any. Condition is well-thumbed.

eBay doesn't have me rushing to list them, but I am hesitant to bin them if they could be worth anything; I have an expensive watch habit to maintain, and there is the new Morris Minor to pay for......

All suggestions and advice gratefully considered.

    No, I won't swap for a Porsche 924......

I'm no Xpert but if you have any X-men issues then they might be worth something.

Also, look at for any issue 1's. If you find one of these...

Not into comics at all but I do know condition is a major part of values. I'd imagine there are a few specialist shops in and around Manchester which would be happy to give you an idea of values.

Well thumbed means pretty worthless, unless they are super rare, certain artist etc

I have about 2000 in sealed boxes and whilst there are a few worth some money, the majority I couldn't give away

I bought them when a comic store close down as a job lot

    I have 65 of 1 issue

According to my friend 99% of comics are worthless and for anything valuable condition is everything

They look a bit modern to be of value and the golden word on all ephemera is condition.
    Cheers,

1990s by the looks, not a vintage period for Marvel & DC superhero comics. Probably not saleable if in poor condition but may be worth the trip to a local dealer, if you have one, to confirm.

Hard to know without individual issues but nothing rare there.

Might be worth asking Adi (@Adigra) given his connections with the comics world.

    As mentioned,condition is everything.

Unless you have some really rare early edition with a first appearance or something,or a really rare cover variant, they are probably going to be worth very little.

As you know. Condition is everything and those are not great.

Value depends on the character and number.

Also introduction of new characters add value - First appearance Punisher in Spiderman or Wolverine in The Hulk

Can use Ebays completed auctions and get real world values

Just for a quick value. The Justice League is $2.99 brand new. On Ebay $1.00

Thanks all. No trip to my Rolex AD then; not even my Casio AD.
