A couple of years ago I bought one for my 16710 and it was about £950, so I would have thought they must be in excess of £1k now, probably more for a later reference.
I like my Batman but would like the option to wear it on the Jubilee as well. Has anyone bought the Jubilee bracelet from Rolex in the UK? Be interested to know how much they charge?
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Around £1800
When I did a quick search some were saying if the watch had been available on a bracelet for 12 months then you could order that bracelet. As the GMT is the same reference ie 126710BLNR with either bracelet I thought it might be possible. I will ring the AD later in the week when I have time. Perhaps someone who has done so will post in the meantime.

I'm interested in an Oyster for my 2018 BLRO but don't rate my chances. I'm interested to hear how you get on. Original source here:

My GMT16710 is in for a service at the moment. I requested a Jubilee and am getting one while retaining my oyster. It costs 1.1k euro
Thanks for that.
Spoke to the AD earlier today when I had some free time. £1795 inc vat.

Are dealers explaining these rules to new Rolex buyers before they make their decisions, i.e. make sure you pick the bracelet and bezel you’re going to be happy with as there’s no swapping later?
Oh well we'll give the WTB thread a go just in case one surfaces!

I am sorry, and it is a shame the OP cannot simply buy what he wants.
But this situation is more than a little comic.
As if it is not bad enough that they want to charge £1800 for a pretty mundane stainless bracelet.
Now they won't even let you buy one, unless you also send them one back again.
So now you have to give them what they consider to be an £1800 bracelet, and also £1800, to get one?
Ludicrous.
Jeezus! £1,800 on exchange!
If I felt so strongly that I wanted a change of bracelet- I'd have no hesitation in getting a good 'copy' and fitting that.
(by 'copy' - i mean unbranded but dimensionally-correct)
No-one in their right minds - pays that sort of money for a bracelet under those rules.
The £1700 that Jon Kenney paid wasn't on an exchange basis. It was an outright purchase.
If I'm reading it correctly they just won't either exchange or sell you the alternative bracelet full stop.
Jubilee bracelets are available on exchange only, since summer of 2023 circa.
Oyster bracelet is not on exchange, you can buy one outright if you have a jubilee (or a worn out oyster) without having to send one in, any dealer telling you differently is stealing your jubilee bracelet.
I had a 2008 steel Daytona on the “older” clasp. I bought a “newer” style bracelet with clasp from the AD for around £1400 iirc and when serviced this year I swapped the dial from black to white and kept the black dial. Almost enough parts for a new Daytona at this rate!
It was, but too many people were buying the Jubilee (cause its worth more) so Rolex closed that down.
They did the same thing with the Olive green Day-date dial last year. During the height of the corona hype we had 40 orders on that dial (and many others, like Onyx) and Rolex just closed it down and made them exchange only.
Who's to say they wont open it up again once the market crashes and we are back to discounts on everything except steel daytona again, like it was pre-2017.
Because they want to be consistent.
If it is good and really popular, as Rolex wants their products to be, they restrict the supply so you can't have them.
You can buy all the unpopular stuff any time you like, but they just won't let you get at the good stuff.
As a point of information I was in the middle of eventually getting round to trying the jubilee bracelet onto my BLRO tonight.
Oyster was off and ready to attach the jubilee.
Thought I would split the bracelet for ease of attaching only to discover my seadweller screwdriver doesn't fit the new jubilee.
1.4mm screws as opposed to 1.6mm on the oyster.
Everything put back together and likely the jubilee away for another year.
A waste of 45mins.
@hood,
I cant believe a man of your standing does not have a 1.4mm screwdriver!
Cheers,
Ben
