Custom tribute watch for a close friend.

I’d just like to share with you a custom watch that I just assembled for a close friend of mine.

Cameron (right of the photo) sadly passed away 2 years ago aged just 23, after catching glandular fever. He passed away due to a ruptured spleen.

Cameron, and his father John (left of photo) both had a strong interest in Bees and had a few hives in the garden, they used to produce and sell local honey together.

The watch will be a surprise present to John, which will be presented to him by his family on the 25th of November, which is the anniversary of Cameron’s passing.

I’ve known John for 40 years and I used go out drinking with both John and Cameron on a regular basis until he passed away. Such a young age.

    Here are the photos :

Gosh, what a lovely, unique tribute to your friend. His father will be very moved I'm sure.

That is absolutely sensational. Both the watch but more importantly the gesture. What a lovely friend you must be. I’m sure John will be touched beyond belief. Chapeau.

What a lovely tribute that is. It looks superb, both the watch and the box. I am sure your friend will cherish every minute wearing it.

    Love it.

That's really touching and terribly sad. What a lovely gesture, and even if he doesn't wear the watch it's a wonderful and well presented tribute.

Wow! What a story and gesture. Take some tissues with you on the 25th, assuming you're there.

Really lovely. Proof that the real value in watches is what they mean to individuals.

Lovely gesture and always so sad when young people pass away early. Love that logo. Maybe something for you to continue to do as another line in memory

No need to; if John is a good enough friend for you to do this for him, it’s a foregone conclusion that he will appreciate it beyond words!

Great gesture, everyone needs a friend like you.

That’s fantastic, he will be blown away I’m sure.

Never realised glandular fever could be that life threatening. That really has knocked the wind out of me for some reason.

Amazing tribute, in Mexico there is a tradition where our relatives and friends are still alive in our minds and hearts each moment that we remember them

    Hi,

No, I purchased the seconds hand already painted.

I just stumbled across it and thought that it would be perfect for a Bee themed watch. :)
