Omega PO - Service Required - Where?

    Hi,

    I'm after some advice please

My Omega PO needs a service, the hour hand will not go past the 9 o'clock position.

The last time I had it serviced was about 8 years ago, I sent it to the service centre at The Swatch Group UK Ltd Southampton.

Is this still the recommended place to send it?

    Thanks
    Michael

I sent my PO 2500 to Duncan of Genesis https://www.genesiswatchmaking.co.uk/ for service.
Did a great job and still running fine. Happy to recommend

I’ve used both the above, and found them both to be excellent
Check prices with each, and turnaround time?

Omega PO - Service Required - Where?

I was quoted 24 weeks by Omega Southampton for a defective x33 ( hour and minute hands not moving or synchronising with digital display) this week , however the member of staff did say this is the period told to be quoted in case of delay on parts from Switzerland, many are completed before this length of time , allegedly , for your and other members information.

If you don’t require case polish, watch guy is a great value for money compared to what Omega is charging these days…

I’ve used Sean at About Time for my Expl II full service and light polish and serviced my Fortis with Time Piece Watch Repairs in the Trafford Centre. Not sure on your location but good to use if you don’t want to post, they have a number of shops across England and also do Omega.

Recently had my 8500 PO serviced by STS - cheaper than Omega though the turnaround time was still quite lengthy.

I've used Duncan at Genesis previously too and his work and communications are excellent.
