    Breitling launching a new collection

I just had an email from Breitling entitled:
"Coming soon: A new collection is landing" with the following pic.
I wonder what it could be? A chrono, clearly. Looks quite thin too. Exciting, unless they do an Omega and it starts at £21k!

Big departure from the historic Chronomat crown if they do that. I love the Chronomat crown so it’d be a no from me.

Never owned a Breitling and not sure I ever will going by experiences on this forum.

It is not that servicing costs are very high and depreciation is like Wiley E Coyote falling off a cliff, but the terrible U.K. service mentioned across many posts.

Hearing rumours of a new Avenger now. Again, this seems very thin for that but it's a strong rumour on the Breitling FB group I'm in.

I reckon there’s a bit of creative photography going on there so that you don’t see the full thickness of the watch.

I was semi-interested until I saw the silly strapline (Unstoppable ?!).

Maybe the new Aerospace? Looks very polished for Ti, but the pushers would look correct.

Good shout, grade 5 titanium polishes up well so could be.

Increasingly certain to be an Avenger.
If you click the Avenger line on the website at the moment it shows no watches. They'll be getting it ready for the launch...

Maybe the chrono will be missing a pusher …

The winding crown is....Avenger to my eyes, but the seemingly thin case with rectangular pushers seems too good to be true for a chrono' in the avenger line. But, if push comes to shove & it meets my criteria, well Mrs Nealy' will have to sacrifice her jewellery & the Barry Manilow tickets, just bought BTW.

Updated and unstoppable usually refers to their service pricing.

It usually refers to their relentless pursuit in p*ssing of their customers.

You can see the bezel a bit better in this photo. Looks a bit chunkier now.

After all this striptease, it had better look good when we see it naked.

Remember when BMW GS used the strapline “unstoppable “ they had to recall their bikes for leaking brake calipers whilst still in the dealerships! I hope Breitling are not afflicted with such early failures.

    Leaked 1st pic...

I actually really like it. It'll be interesting to see the dimensions. I'm not a huge fan of the cut-off numerals but it's good the date is colour-matched to the subdial and Breitling don't half know how to do yellow on black.

Personally don’t see nothing in the new collection as new or ground breaking compared to the old ones - https://www.breitling.com/gb-en/watches/avenger/

Just watched the latest Breitling summit video, (link below) quite like the look of the new ceramic/titanium Night Mission Avenger with the B01 Chronograph movement, not ridiculous at £7600 either considering the substantial discounts available on Breitling’s.

Too large for me, but a really good release I think. Glad to see the display caseback and a tool free micro-adjust in the bracelet.

Look thinner and to be honest the ceramic one is pretty tasty but not cheap.

I see it's actually 15.2mm thick. Very far from thin, that is chunky even for an automatic chrono. With that and 44m diameter it is clearly for manly men who have proper big wrists.

Does anyone know if there are plans for an updated seawolf? I’ve been looking at the last model and will hold off if an updated version is on the way.

I’m just glad they haven’t completely destroyed the Navitimer range. Still some text book B01 Navi’s in the range.

Not much else excites from that brand these days.

Breitling get a lot of criticism but I owned one years ago and thought it was a really nice well made watch, I quite like this new yellow dial one they brought out.

That being said their price policy of a huge RRP then a discount nearly everywhere you look is just baffling.

What a world we live in now where 7 and a half grand for a chronograph is somehow reasonable.

Looks like the old CEO of IWC was right, we are privileged being in an industry where we can basically charge what we want.

I like that, the numerals are the one bad thing, batons would have been perfect.
