Very sad news. One of the defining players of the English game. A huge figure when I was a kid, not only in football but in the wider popular culture - when we'd go abroad on holiday and the Germans or Italians you'd meet realised you were English, quite often they'd ask about Bobby Charlton.

One of Britains greatest footballers and a fantastic ambassador for the game throughout the world. He was a true gentleman and conducted himself in the highest of manners to all that met him, another legend gone.
I remember years ago standing in the pub in Derby with my pals and I was wearing the Bobby Charlton sweep. Phil was wearing the David Seaman ponytail and big Gary was wearing the Kevin Keegan perm.
