    omega and seiko watch help

hi, just been given a bag of watches! around 50 in total, most seem to be junk, so to start i have these 2, if they are worth anything i will be selling and donating to the fund.
    1st,
An Omega, its well used as you can see and doesnt seem to work, i dont belive its gold.
    2nd,
A Seiko, very well used! ironicly it has kept good time since lunch time.
    any help will be appreciated.

The Omega I have no idea but the movement isn't stamped so maybe fake, the Seiko is a Seiko Jumbo.
I'm no expert on Seiko's but in good condition they seem to sell upto £600.00 or so, I'm sure more knowledgeable people will tell you.

The Omega is definitely fake, the Seiko is genuine and worth a fair bit more than I expected on ebay!

The Omega is about as much an omega as a timex is an omega. There were a ton of these about a few years ago, very crudely made fake "vintage" models with a weird pretend hallmark on the back. Strange things, kinda cool but not remotely real.

Love the Seiko. Needs a good bit spending to bring it up to mint, but collectors love them original and unrestored like this, it's a fantastic little piece. Easy couple of hundred quids worth, ballpark anywhere from £200-£400.

The Seiko is a 6138 and known as the Jumbo.

I bought a decent condition model from Sales Corner but it still cost a few hundred pounds and quite some time to get hold of the parts. Bodo (Guy) fixed mine up.

Looks like that's the original strap so that may help the sales value

The 'Jumbo' is a very good find.

Omega's an obvious fake, surprised the OP even needed to ask!

If it is, why the massive gaps at the lugs?

    Cheers

It isn't the original strap on the Seiko 6138 (see bottom right)
