    A Seiko 6117-6410 today.

I had it serviced a couple of years ago, but aside from the week it came back, I think this might be the first time I've worn it since!

So I intended to wear my new watch today:

but for the life of me I cannot understand how to size its bracelet. The links appear to be screwed in but none of my screwdrivers can unscrew them.

So I ended up with the old faithful again:

It looks like they aren’t screws. This pin removal tool on their website says it’s for all of their bracelets.

Lovely, Greg. In fact, the 42mm orange bezel is probably the only watch I'm keeping my eyes peeled for right now. I really want one!

I`ll feature a few pics of the restoration when I get chance.

The difference between a scruffy well-worn example and a freshly refinished watch is huge, this now looks pin-sharp and I plan to keep it that way!

Not only did it take me an entire day to wrest this 3rd rate image from my 'new' camera (which still stubbornly refuses to communicate with my computer), but when I finally do, the date is wrong!

Well dammit! - anachronistic image incoming anyway!

Hope your W/E's going better than mine!

It’s such a good looking dive watch. A true classic.
