    Which Is Your Favourite Revel?

I'm going straight in with the controversial view that the coffee creme rocks. I'm always disappointed when I misidentify a toffee as one.

    I’m exactly the same!

So that makes two of us out of a population of sixty eight million then!

The childhood trauma of accidentally picking coffee thinking it was the orange creme will stay with me to my dying day.

Stopped buying Revels when they took out the coconut. No peanuts sealed the deal. Nowadays I just buy a pack of Poppets (Toffets).

With you here. Like the coffee ones in any selection box and luckily for me no-one else seems to.

Orange for me, although coffee is a close second.
    Cheers,

Malteser, then galaxy counter, then coffee creme.
I wouldn't thank anyone for the orange.

We play revel gambling on long car journeys.

This is precisely the kind of thing the poll function is for. Bravo!

Surely not bought at the cinema with their ludicrous mark up? I hated getting involved in theatre pricing strategy when I worked there.

There used to be a promotion where you got free cinema tickets on the in-store packs but not the ones in the cinema. Don’t think that was too thought through tbh.

Never in the cinema, might get caught out once or twice but never the plan. Stopped buying them when the bag started being 60+% air but always like a bit of junk food related nostalgia. Awful snack selection at Odeon these days. Mostly Munchies in the bag for probably £5.

    Malteser
    Galaxy counter
    Coffee
    Orange
    Toffee

But I’m a pig and frequently put 3 or 4 in my mouth at once making for an interesting concoction

I don't think I've ever had a Revel and I had no idea there were different flavours.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Orange followed by the naked minstrel

    This is a truth!

The coffee isn’t as strongly flavoured as I remember!

I concur with this. After the raisin, the coffee is my least favourite. Orange number 1

Wow, Big Night In was something they pushed so hard for over a decade! Amazingly working for another snack manufacturer as a consultant had research to say it wasn’t a big night in, just a night in, low scale & watching tv vs some massive confection party.

Shows how much research can be biased vs what you want to get from it. Low scale makes more sense, but wasn’t exciting enough for the larger company.

Coke were guilty of similar, reverse engineering the pizza takeaway into a supermarket version & aside from it being coke, removing all the fun from the pizza night.

Part of me misses that life sometimes, but only sometimes!
