    Any ideas what this is?

    Any ideas what this is? Weighs about 4 ozs. Handle seems to be copper/ brass mixture and the "blade" steel with strange cuboid things at end.
    Was in sister in laws bits and pieces box but no-one has any idea what it is.

    At a guess.

    It looks like a chuck key.
    Or some device used to open a cabinet door.

    Doors to the drivers compartment and other bits of trains used to be accessed with a square key. This looks like it could be used for accessing such areas:

    Nice patina but most of the lume seems to be missing. Does it keep good time?
