    Looks superb

I definitely like that, I'll wait until the second hand market kicks in tho.

Nearly £4000.00 is a lot when you consider how much they lose as soon as you walk out the door of an AD.

That's a lovely looking watch. I would dream of paying 4k for it though, especially seeing as it seems to be fitted on a Seiko H link bracelet.

Bears a suspicious resemblance to Tissot PRX chronograph

In no way at all. Case shape totally different, bezel totally different. Pushers and crown totally different. Markers and dial design different. But hey, hands and basic layout are similar, it's basically the same watch.

Well, I think they look similar, YMMV of course :)

I get more vintage Daytona vibe than PRX.
    Looks lovely.

RRP in the UK is actually £3400. It's about what I'd expect when you compare it to the competition. This where prices are nowadays unfortunately.

A definite Daytona / Big block inspiration there.
It’s a no from me, the lugs are not particularly elegant, a bit fat. Not keen on the colour scheme either.

Agreed, might be the kind of thing you wait for a used one to pop up in good condition. I do like the look, though I'm not usually much for chronos.

Agreed, not even in the ballpark as a look a like aside from it being a wrist watch

With an easy 15 - 20% off in most places.

If watches are your hobby, and not resale values, this is quite a looker.

Not sure why this is more expensive than the Spirit Chrono range with better chronometer movements?

I'm liking the white face very much. You'd need to look twice if it sported screw down pushers, would be very similar to a Daytona as has been said.

I like the look of this (except the already-noted 'thunderthighs' lugs), but it is also a very generic retro-chrono design that could have come from any one of ~20 different manufacturers, and with a frankly baffling choice of movement inside it.

It's also hard to ignore the fact that its more distinctive (if 'Marmite') predecessor can be had under £1K used (under £500 for the excellent VHP version). £3.4K is ambitious to say the least, albeit it's clear Swatch AG are repositioning the brand higher-up the foodchain, which to me seems appropriate.

Yep, the 'piggy back' movement would be the dealbreaker for me.
Probably done to keep the height a wearable size.

Tried a few of these on today and was quite impressed. The blue dial is very nice, but for me a bit shiny and not great in terms of legibility.

Of the other two, the black with silver subdials appealed most. They're pretty thick and probably not for the shy and retiring, and I felt the polished centre links made them look perhaps a bit blingy.

I could see myself having one of these, but not at full retail price.

    A few crappy pics:
