    Gift ideas for brothers 40th

I’m struggling to think of anything to get my brother for his 40th.

Budget a couple of hundred quid - maybe a bottle of whisky (although he usually drinks mixes with coke…)

    Appreciate any suggestions.

Get him an experience you can both do - done it a few times with my brother and a mate too- followed by lunch
The water rafting was a blast, crossbow/ axe throwing/ archery was good too

I got my brother a 40 year old bottle of Port - I was lucky as a) he really likes Port, and b) 1978 was not a declared year so it was affordable.

An introductory flying lesson at your local flying school. Something to remember and you’ll be allowed to sit in the back.

I agree with an experience gift. Something you could do together or for him and his partner would be my suggestion.

Some gifts I’ve seen work well include skydiving, weekend away, a meal out and concert tickets.

Thanks for that - really good suggestion as a friend turns soon. Half tempted to get myself a bottle for my 50th ahead of time as I’m sure they will go up in price with a turn of the decade approaching. It would be my business model.
