Update - All the seamaster models with a faded blue dial. Hardly groundbreaking.

Yeah, pleasant enough but not that ‘special’ I don’t think. I like the presentation of the omega site though with each model moved to based on depth.
Just what Omega desperately needed: more SKUs.
The Ploprof is pretty cool, glad to see it back and revised to the same size as the original size is interesting but the hour hand looks a bit small for me and almost £12k is Mike Tyson level punching.

The upgrades to the Ploprof are interesting and worthwhile - though this probably won't be the optimum version when a fuller range emerges.
I'd love to see the PO in the metal, too... But yeah - prices are hard to reconcile.

Pretty disappointing announcement as it stands.
I rather like these. The Ploprof is really cool bar the daft price tag.
If the big watch brands were in a Premier League Omega would be Everton. 40 years ago top of their game and winning things, but in recent times struggling to keep up with the rest.
Certainly the recent Speedmaster 321 was a quality piece of work, but expensive and generally unavailable, bit like Dominic Kalvin Lewin.
I agree a modern 165:024 is what everyone wants, not more fancy dials, releases in precious metals and huge price increases.
I have been an Omega fan over the years, but they are a bit boring and predictable at the moment.
That’s disappointing, I was really hoping it would be time for the 165.024.
Surely they're Liverpool. They certainly have a seat at the table and capable of producing some special things every now and again.
The Ploprof looks great but £13200 is a ridiculous retail price.

Happy to see the Ploprof return but the price is daft and the dial colour is pretty unremarkable. Hopefully they release a true to the original colour scheme (with a slightly wider minute hand). Are these aimed at female customers? the wrist size guide shows quite small wrists when viewed on the ipad. (Max 7.5ish inches)
A new 165.024 would be great but I can’t see it happening, same for the Ploprof wish above.
I think the Grand and a Flighty would be worth reissues as well.
The Ultra Deep was an interesting release in Ti but the rest seem to be tugging at the Deep Sea coat tails especially the blue. It seems as if the Omega design team have lost all direction or inspiration recently

Ironically none of these watches bear any resemblance to the original!
I have a 14ct rose gold model dating from 1951, a far nicer item than these latest offerings.
I can't see myself buying any of these.
The dial colours repressing the light at their depth ratings is quite funky and a nice way to do something a bit different. The Ultra Deep with the UV writing on the dial is quite fun too.
Seems a bit limp-wristed for an anniversary though.
A sloppy comparison of Ploprof old Vs new. Really is quite a bit smaller. Hour hand size really doesn’t look great.
The ultra deep is the best of the bunch IMO

Interesting watch but £12k and not sure about the lumed Easter egg personally.
Wouldn’t mind seeing one in person but very much doubt I’d buy one.

I’m glad they’ve released something new at last but what an abysmally uninteresting collection. With Rolex leaving the market wide open, all Omega had to do was bring out something fans have been asking for. And they’ve been asking for enough…. and what do they do? They make a blue one of everything.
What a f*cking boring collection. I needed a coffee after I saw it to avoid slipping into unconsciousness.

Seems like they’re aligning this towards the serious >collectors< and marketing as a set - first time I’ve seen this for the Seamaster family.

I think the 39.5mm Planet Ocean is the best of the bunch, but there are some design faux pas in the range imo and the prices are too strong.

Each is a lovely looking watch in isolation, but looking at the collection together, to me the design language seems a bit confused.
The hand set design chops and changes between models (arrow hour, arrow minute, both), the ploprofs dark mini hour hand is comical, and although the talk online is that the dials get darker around the edge with depth, the web pics consistently show the 300M darkens much more than the 300 and 600PO...
I still really like the 600PO though, and the ultra deep - bar the size of it.

Still wish they'd update the PO to match the deep sea styling of no date and no HEV. That in the 39.5mm size with the more interesting PO colour combos would be great.

The Omega boutique in Regent street had five of the new models yesterday.
On YouTube - they look a lot better with the sun on the dials. Substantially better I’d say.
Out of the two pictured I definitely prefer the black dial modern take of the original ploprof the new one is nice but very similar to the 1970s original , the 2 gen really made everything betterI concur. They really should have kept it white - like it used t be:
Ploprof really is at its best without the date but for £11k or so it was grade 2 titanium which marks easily and was unacceptable at that price so I never went for it.
I remember Kerry starting a TZ ploprof revival for a while and I really was on the brink.
Not sure if Kerry can take the credit for the revival, but he did do his best lol! I’ve been beating the ploprof drum here for several years now but there are many on here that love them. I’m always surprised to see just how many people on here have one, want one, sold one and want another back….I’ve had 7 in the last few years. Was looking at some of my previous sales posts and even a couple of years ago they were selling for £4K. Now it seems you’re near £8k for a good one and nearer £9-10k for a titanium. I will get this new one, hopefully it won’t be too long.
I am indeed guilty of championing that watch along with many others. I will always stand by the fact that it is a fantastic unit. Again it's a watch that should not work it's far too big it's very quirky and it's not ideal for every situation, but it is a really really great watch. It's not just the plofprof there are others that I standby, whilst towing the line and having a really conventional safe size black diver is all well and good. I like the stuff that sits left and right of all. some examples of this in the past have been Panerai which was my initial passion And just lately the Bremont viper which I still think is going to be an absolute future classic in terms of desirability amongst the watch fraternity, again all of these will never be for everybody, but they are just real pleasure giving watches.

Have always loved the Ploprof but not keen on this version personally, mainly down to what I assume is polished steel hour hand. Much prefer painted hands, also not a fan of the pale blue paint on the minute hand either(the orange gives such a nice pop). But aside of that the plain black just looks the best colour for the Ploprof for me, anything else on that particular watch tends to look gimmicky.
Not that I could afford one anyway, I think my buying days are done.
