Great news, Eddie. My father starts his first immunotherapy treatment on Monday - every three weeks for two years. I hope the rest of the treatment goes well!

Waiting times for scans got too long during the pandemic, so there's been an increase in capacity since then to reverse that.

They phoned mid-morning to say one of the machines has broken down and they've had to shuffle appoinments, mine is now 1730 instead of 1220.

Wishing you the very best of luck with all of this, Eddie. It looks like you're enrolled in a steady game of hurry up and wait - something I imagine you might have experienced once or twice in a previous life.

I hope the treatment goes well, Eddie and that yesterday's scan yields a good result.

Thought of yesterday Eddie, I was at Wimbledon and there was a rather fetching young lady doing a BBC live to air broadcast, I didn’t recognise her but my missus said it was Carol Kirkwood.
I gotta say she did look very tidy in a one size too small red dress that seemed to emphasise her bust somewhat

As I said I thought of you as I’m sure you were extolling her virtues on some previous post so I only managed to take a quick pic as the sound man began to unzip her dress to remove the mic and earpiece (tough job but someone’s gotta do it)

Something for you to focus your mind on next time you’re sat in a 4hr chemo session.

Keep on fighting, it sounds like good progress is being made. staying mentally healthy and doing what you can physically, can only help.
