    Quite often it's asked 'What's the easiest to read digital display' for an older relative etc...
    If asked previously I would have said my G Shock GD350 - have recently picked up this Casio AE1500 - although not a G Shock for under £30 I'm quite happy

    The older I get the harder it is to see a normal watch!.
    The Casio will eventually be the watch I could only tell the time by!.

    Ha, I'm on an unrushed lookout for a large display watch for cycling.

    Two months ago I tried these two on:





    TBH, I didn't like how the oversized AE sat on the wrist.

    I have these two for running:





    They are much more manageable on the wrist but not really legibility champions. The Casio has has a barely adequate backlite and the Timex's display is annoying in that if you don't look at it a fairly right angle, all its fields turn black:
