BBC reporting 3-4 months...either way - big development. They are never quite the same without KDB.

Suspect they will try to sign someone in the next two weeks as it is a very good reason to splash some cash!

Pep says 3 if he needs surgery.
Not the calamity everyone is predicting . Foden is more than capable of shifting inside . It’s his inevitable role so I’m confident he will step up . I’d imagine that news has just pushed Paquetas price up too.

I don't think Saliba wants to go. I'm not sure why LTTF mentioned Saliba. It is Gabriel

In other surprising news Chelsea have signed another player - Eze from Chelsea

Agreed. KDB has looked off in quite a few games last season and we played one whole season about 4 years ago without him and managed to win the league. City will need to find someone to feed Erling the killer passes that KDB is so good at. I didn’t put KDB in my FF team as having seen what happened in CL final I just knew he wouldn’t be right this season

Thanks for the extra T. It was just a mistake on my part but now it seems to have legs

Ha fair enough- I was getting worried there as Gabriel is replaceable but not Saliba.

David Raya has signed on loan from Brentford. Classy from Arteta and Edu with Raya's grandfather.

I fear that not signing Raya when we just had to up our offer a bit will come back to bite us. Feeling very unsure about Vicario right now.

That said, i don't see how Arteta can accommodate both him and Ramsdale - something will have to give.

Saudi could be the downfall on European football, with the silly money they are offering more and more players will move over there, look at the players they have signed this summer, move forward 2-3 years and they will have 4-5 teams of good talent. Once a few more big names head there more will follow.

I bet some of the big European teams are happy with the current SA madness, it is enabling them to offload big players on huge wages who would otherwise be almost impossible to sell unless they stayed in that PSG - Real Madrid - Barcelona triangle.

Seems they now want Mo Salah. Personally I would let him go, he isn’t a team player as his substitution on Sunday clearly showed. Another player that would be difficult to sell otherwise.

Salah has arguably been the 3rd best player in the world for the last 5/6 years.

Hes average 23 goals a season in the prem I’ve the last 6 years whilst playing as a winger.

To put it into perspective Ryan Giggs scored 114 league goals in 24 years.

His stats demolish every winger to ever play the game.

There’s no way Liverpool should ever sell him.

    Very arguably lol

He had a purple patch of 2 maybe 3 seasons where he was unplayable bit even then never appeared in the top 3 in the Ballon d’Or as far as I’m aware (I accept it’s not the ultimate barometer, but it’s a fairly good indicator)

    Very true.

I heard one of the big spending Saudi teams accepted Man Utd's 47 pence valuation for Harry Maguire but it fell down on the 13 pence of add on's for the deal. Shame, but at least he's not joining the Hammers......# relief at the London Stadium

I think the issues the Saudis will have is that unless they agree to FFP caps they'll not be granted access to FIFA and maybe UEFA tournaments so the current draw is simply the cash.

I reckon they'll be given a couple of years to build the league up and then will need to adhere to FFP regulations.

2 Saudi Arabia friendly games to be played at St James park.

Club teams? If it’s club teams I would imagine quite a few would attend for a chance to see some of the players who are currently over there.

Internationals against South Korea and Costa Rica in preparation for the Asian Cup. I’m sure they’ll attract decent crowds.

It’s the pull of the desert over that London place .
Madrid apparently sniffing around him too.
Rumours of City going after a big name from a rival that will cause shockwaves . Can only think of Odegaard , Salah or maybe Bruno at Toon and I can’t see any of them being likely .

Yes I just heard that too.
Apparently they’ve made a bid for Maguire.

“ Following the dropping of all charges against Mason Greenwood in February 2023, Manchester United has conducted a thorough investigation into the allegations made against him.

This has drawn on extensive evidence and context not in the public domain, and we have heard from numerous people with direct involvement or knowledge of the case.

Throughout this process, the welfare and perspective of the alleged victim has been central to the club’s inquiries, and we respect her right to lifelong anonymity.

We also have responsibilities to Mason as an employee, as a young person who has been with the club since the age of seven, and as a new father with a partner.

The fact-finding phase of our investigation is now complete, and we are in the final stages of making a decision on Mason’s future.

Contrary to media speculation, that decision has not yet been made and is currently the subject of intensive internal deliberation. Responsibility ultimately rests with the Chief Executive Officer.

Once made, the decision will be communicated and explained to the club’s internal and external stakeholders.

This has been a difficult case for everyone associated with Manchester United, and we understand the strong opinions it has provoked based on the partial evidence in the public domain. We ask for patience as we work through the final stages of this carefully considered process”

Disgrace if he’s allowed back, United should hang their heads in shame.

That statement just smacks of rehabilitation into the team . It talks of an alleged victim and later of Greenwood’s partner as if they are different people .
Nothing surprises me from that club .

It’s bloody hard work sitting on the bench for months on end, the guy needs a big cash reward for his efforts.

I heard Blackpool were interested, not the football team, but the local council, they need a few extra donkeys for the beach.

Shocking news that Liverpool seem to have found a midfielder that wants to play for them. Yes he is 30 and narrowly escaped Bundesliga relegation last season, but he is fully prepared to take the blame when Van Dyke is exposed at the back as a shadow of his former self, which was an important contract clause.

Discussions with Chelsea about personal terms are expected later today.

Mr Full Kit, as i said before you are a rare wit and none with a bigger mouth either.

Given how slow this investigation is you will probably be collecting your pension before its settled, i wouldnt want to financially burden an old man,

Anyway as with any case with multiple charges its likely they wont opine on each one they will take sample charges.

Ill make it easier for you, if the EPL sanction Man City for breach of FFP on foot of these charges you pay 115 into the fund raiser, if they dont i will. Happy big man?

Confirmed Jurrien Timber has an ACL injury and will be out for 6-8 months.

Arsenal in for Simikan at Leipzig as a replacement. Opening bid of £40m, structured as £5m up front and £1m each year for 35 years imminent.
