This hit the doormat today. £75 from Ali and so far I rather like it.
I thought I was getting the black dial but blue is quite nice. Sits on my wrist very nicely and the sandwich dial and lume are lovely.

Is this the blue? It looks a lot darker than the Ali listing

All the usual functions and a nice crisp, high contrast display (although the angle I captured it at here doesn't show that. I was trying to avoid a reflection from a light source). Comfy, as well.

Bought this a few years ago for under a tenner

They do a GS diver homage… wonder what that is like in person.

Yes it is. Agreed, the pics do make it look darker than it actually is. I’ll try and capture the colour tomorrow

I’ve seen that one, I wondered as well. Having recently sold a GS (not a diver) I’d be curious to see how close they get to emulating the GS quality of case finish/dial. Tempting isn’t it?!

Glad the pic helped and tbh it looks bluer in the metal than I've been able to capture. Think you'll be happy if you decide to buy one...

I guess you have to accept the blurry dial and bezel at that price

Amazon has some addiesdive watches (same as steeldive by the looks of it) in the prime day sale

    Picked up a 6105 homage for £67!

I keep forgetting this one. A lovey Piaget Polo homage that I’ve stuck in a Barton rubber strap as the original pleather one was awful.
No hacking is about the only negative I can level at it but it makes a nice casual evening watch.

Just picked up a blue Seestern 62mas homage, with automatically applied £9 coupon, for £102 shipped tax paid.

    Plenty of other colour choices.

The bracelet is so-so on this one, but the rubber waffle is decent.

No reply from Seestern about this.

I have had this Pagani Design Oyster Perpetual homage for about five weeks now and it has rapidly become something that I reach for daily. It’s a real surprise at just how good it is.

39mm case with 20mm lugs. Big chunky case that has deeper sides than my 16610 Sub. Love the Tiffany Blue dial.

Time keeping ball park +5s / day which I think is pretty good for a NH34/35 movement. Power reserve around 45 hours.

The Oyster Bracelet is really well made. No sharp edges. Comfortable and the comfort extension is a welcomed surprise. It’s a little stiff to operate but will loosen up a bit over time.

All in all amazingly good for £65 delivered

I think I shall be getting a 36mm version soon

    ^^^^^^^^^^^

    I have this very model.

About 4 months ago I ordered a 36mm Oyster Perpetual (Tiffany blue dial) from the local AD. They thought this was a futile exercise as the model would be discontinued long before my name came up.

So a few weeks later I ordered the Pagani Design version. BUT before the PD version arrived from Beijing (or wherever) I got "the call" from the AD to pick up my shiny new 126000 OP.

When the PD arrived (a week later) I was surprised at the quality and it's now my "holiday watch" and the OP rests in the safe whilst I decide whether it's a keeper

Remember those that were going to revolutionise the market by cutting out the middleman?

I think this time they have cut out the middleman!

This has been getting a fair bit of wrist time since it landed. It’s a Tuna style case, very substantial, solid bracelet although the clasp is functional but lacking. Has a nice blue dial and bezel that the photos don’t quite capture. Cost a whopping £10.70!!

In the end, a real one came up on SC, grabbed that.

I looked at that seestern too. Great looking watch, if they had a rubber strap, that matched as nicely as the Doxa one, I'd have got one.

What's the crystal like? Does it look weird on the wrist with awkward distortions?

Not sure until it arrives. I bought the same watch (but with different dial, handset, and strap) here on sc some time back, and can't remember, so probably not or it would have stuck in my mind. The case is machined very straight though, with virtually no sloping down of the lugs, I remember that. But at £37 it's worth it for the movement and strap alone.

It arrived today, no weird distortions. Quality is simply astounding for less than £40. Cheap stamped buckle on the otherwise okay waffle strap the only real concession to saving the pennies. Drilled lug holes.

No problem. When I say no weird distortions, there are at extreme angles but you wouldn't be looking at the watch that way anyway. Straight on and at mild angles it's as clear as can be.

This was nearly £300 but it arrived this morning and I'm blown away by the quality and finishing on this titanium diver from San Martin.
Not cheap but aliexpress standards but we'll worth the money I think.
