Stunning Planet Ocean Kerry, such a great design and incredible value when you consider what people pay for other IMHO inferior ‘high end’ dive watches.

I loved the dial and movement of my 42mm 8500 but not the weight or thickness. Off it went.

I own this 43.5mm version, particularly like the lumed bezel on this version.

I agree, the 8900 is rather vulgar and ugly, huge mistake in aesthetics.

My 8500 42mm is 10 years old now. Bought as my first luxury watch. Runs pretty much bang on. Absolutely love that watch.

I picked up my PO Liquidmetal LE in 2011. Still have it, and it's probably still my favourite watch:

You have to admit, the minute markers are weird and they got the numbers all wrong. The basic DNA is there but the 8900 is the poorest of the generations.

It is in black and the display rear is uglier than previous. The coin edge just doesn’t work

Got mine in around 2008,got staff discount so paid £1500,thought I’d done really well selling it a few years later for the same price.
There seems to be a recurring theme with me and making bad decisions on selling watches.
This orange bezel was always the one to have for me .

This is where I think they missed a trick (in a slightly deeper blue)

Ginger and White is a bit Shite IMHO

In its element. I’ve had a few PO and love them.

I had the same PO ceramic chrono Martyn and it’s high on the list of watches I regret selling, especially as they retail at over 11k now!

I had two at one time, but the orange bezel went to fund something else. I regret selling it…

    Go on then, I’ll play….

I’ve had a few PO over the years and I’d really like to have another, hugely wearable and good looking dive watches.

I don’t fancy the 3rd generation, the numbers don’t look right and it’s a bit too shiny for a hardcore diver, but I’m looking forward to seeing what the next iteration looks like.

    This Is Planet Ocean

Mentioned this thread to a colleague today and they have just had their 42mm 2500d PO serviced and are about to sell! So if anyone is looking they want 3.2 with the 11+ months warranty remaining for a mint full set. White with Orange numbers

Is a beauty. I would be having it if 45mm

Not at the moment thanks. I was actually thinking of adding the 43.5 8900 to the lineup
