Occasionally the Royal Geographical Society have something horological in their Monday night lecture series - the last one was a couple of years ago, and was in interesting history of the collection of chronometers held by the RGS and loaned to various expeditions.

There's another one coming up on Monday 27th Feb, which, as per the title, might be interesting. I'm entitled to take one guest, so if anyone is interested I'd be happy to offer the guest ticket and see you there. Last time Mr Curta came along and we had a a drink in the bar and both enjoyed the talk very much.

The details are here: A history of civilization in 12 clocks

Post up or PM if interested.
