Got a bit of a 70s /80s Omega vibe. I have to say i quite like it too.
So I haven't posted here in ages and I haven't bought a watch -or thought about buying a watch- in almost ten years (last one was a PRS-9 in 2013), but recently I saw some of these PRXes in the window of a jeweller and just bought one.
Surprised how much I like it. Not sure how I feel about Swatch group's spruced up ETA 2824 yet, free sprung balance is nice but I hope they know what they are doing with the plastic escape wheel and pallet fork.
Quite surprised I remebered my username and password btw!

I think the case is very much "inspired" by the Oysterquartz and the waffle dial is a bit reminiscent of the Royal Oak, especially in blue.
There was a late 70s Tissot model that looked similar: https://i.redd.it/3vlk5lj2jtt81.jpg
If you’d been a little more active here you could have bought a blue dial quartz, a (metallic) green dial quartz, a blue waffle dial auto and/or a two tone chronograph.
I bought the green quartz and am very happy with it; I almost bought the waffle dial auto too, but thankfully someone else snapped it up.
My kids like them....although they don't agree on the dial colour..
Tried this at Heathrow the other day and it was very nice on the wrist. The blue Powermatic is the best but seems to be in demand and lots of places have sold out
The blue quartz on SC right now is a bargain.
I think they wear very nicely and have a bit more sparkle to them than one would expect, mostly due to the faceted hour markers and the flat bracelet links. Old Mido Commander bracelets are pretty similar in that regard. I can't really capture it in a photo though.

I have the green quartz and it looks great in the watch box, never seem to wear it and not sure why. Might be a summer wearer I reckon?
I have the blue quartz. Unfortunately it wears bigger than its dimensions would suggest, but I'm still fond of it.
I bought the green faced auto over Christmas, it’s a phenomenal watch for the price and very comfortable wears well for me too.
I like enough to pull the trigger on the chronograph if I see it for a good price.
I've been looking at these again after seeing your photo.
I looked earlier in the year and decided, through a window, that it was too big.
However, I took a trip to town on Saturday to actually try one on and it looked fine.
I tried the automatic, but I'm not struck on the waffle dial and the chrono looks a bit out of place on the style of case, to me, so it's a blue quartz for me.
£5 later and I have a birthday present to wear from next month! (Gotta love Tesco Clubcard points! )
