Died today aged 55. No age at all…
Apparently he had a fall which resulted in a brain injury, but still a very young age for a prodigious talent, he was the keyboard player with Primal Scream and The Charlatans.
Very much the sound of my late teens and early 20’s, and a big influence in my own music.
Gosh that's very sad. Only 55. RIP.

Blimey. I was just listening to Give Out But Don't Give Up (The Original Memphis Recordings) on vinyl this weekend. A very talented pianist.
Feckin' tragic way to go.
