Obviously there’s a story behind these watches and pens.
    Lovely. What’s the story?

I’m a regular visitor to Kaunas, Lithuania’s second city, most recently last month. Whilst there I visited the Vytautas the Great War Museum and checked out the exhibition dedicated to the lives of two of Lithuania’s most famous sons:

Thanks, yes a few of mine, the IWC is a colleagues.

The weekly calendar function of the 5212 comes in useful for modern aviation ;)

Let me know who you fly for and I will get my CV into them asap - obviously a higher class of pilots and salary than where I work 🤣

I just love this wonderful International watch company mark 11 from 1952.

There's no arguments on its pilot/Navigation heritage.

What's more important to me is that I purchased it from the original owners family.

    That’s sublime. It’s a hooked 7, isn’t it?

I work with military pilots every day, and as you’d expect the wristwatch they choose varies.

Over the years, and I’m a watch nerd so probably notice more than most, it’s been mostly squadron aerospace’s, the issued Seiko’s, a few g-shocks, a surprising number of Torgoen units and a couple of Bremont’s. I’ve never seen any Rolex outside of a mess dinner, nor any Omega’s.
