    I don’t really do biscuits ( I don’t eat chocolate, so that excludes a lot )

    But I do like a Cantuccini ( if/when I have an espresso )

These are a favourite in our house

Almondy crumbly things covered in icing sugar

    And

    Orangy, walnuty soft things

Can’t pronounce either but they are Greek biscuits

I prefer a jammy dodger if I am honest

    Oh yes, can't fault you.

I've edited my reply, as today I'm inclined to the Abernethy.

Has anyone mentioned the marvellous nicecupofteaandasitdown.com yet? Ancient website warning!

Wow not seen that website since I worked for united biscuits many a moon ago. Looks exactly how I remember it.

Dark chocolate hob nobs for the win!

Has anyone mentioned Garibaldis yet? They’re just lovely…
I also really enjoy Party Rings though they disappear too quickly!

I do really like Malted Milks too…

Trouble is they’re covered in what Americans refer to as chocolate. To my English taste it’s like eating sugary dirt - ugh!

Rich Tea - the choice of the biscuit connoisseur

Things you can’t get anymore which were magnificent:
Burton low fat rich tea - dunkable for about 2 mins without loss of biscuit
    Cafe Noir
Coop Milk Chocolate Rich Tea - sounds weird, but fabulous

Does anyone remember Lincoln biscuits, quite small with a nobbly almost cobbled side? Available in the 1990s if I recall correctly but not any more?

Plain biscuit: LU Petit Beurre Salted Butter Biscuits
With fruit: Fig roll, honourable mention to Garibaldi
Chocolate topped, dunkable: McVitie’s Dark Chocolate Digestive
Chocolate topped, non-dunker: Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Dark
Chocolate coated: Border Dark Chocolate Ginger
    Cookie: M&S All Butter Sultana
Retro: Tunnock’s Milk Chocolate Tea Cakes
Wooden Spoon Sh*te Biscuit Award: Oreo

Overall winner is the Leibniz. If I had only slightly poorer impulse control I’d probably just eat them until I died.

We have somehow survived the last couple of months with 2 large packs in the cupboard. We both know that as soon as the outer wrapper is opened the packs will disappear within a matter of days!

You cannot beat a fig biscuit. They always remind me of the times that I spent with my grandparents.

Hotel Chocolat, chocolate covered shortbread biscuits are out of this world. Off the planet expensive too! McVities milk chocolate digestives are great too though as an everyday treat.

Indeed they are! I received some as a gift and loved them. Went online to buy some more...was shocked at the price! They're soooo good though.
