    PP Aquanaut 5066a

Have been eyeing an aquanaut ever since I saw the design couple years ago. Pretty set on picking this model up
    1) have small wrists and I do not like bold/bulky
    2) one of the earliest aquanauts aside from the 5060 (1k pieces) but I can't just paying a ~£10k premium
    3) something I feel has the right usability for lifestyle - I love the idea of rubber strap just being casual

My current modest and small collection is:
    Vacheron Constantin Overseas 42042
    Rolex Submariner 5513
Both picked up quite a few years ago now before this broader market peak and trough

Keen to hear peoples thoughts on the general state of the market/particularly "vintage" higher end where the aquanaut sits? From what I can tell prices even for this model are softening right now...given how things are its well underway but potentially more months of actual pain to come...ideally if it comes to £20k from around £30k I would be very tempted to buy asap, unreasonable?

I have had this model from new and its still one of my favourites in my modest collection
At 36mm it is the perfect size for me, Wears great casual or suited and booted. I have it on the bracelet, but also have the rubber strap (never worn it on rubber tho)
Would compliment your collection nicely I think

There is a restriction on supply from Patek at the moment basically trying to protect brand residuals till the market returns

not really relevant for a watch that isn't in production.

There is a way for this to fall yet, it wasn't a loved model even when the newer 40mm was. It rose in the tide of PP, which is falling now and no where near the bottom, so if not in a rush just wait.
