Forstner UK have reduced a few of their bracelets to £99, including the President (1450) and Flat link for the Omega Seamaster, there's a thread about these somewhere, l'll try and dig it out. Here it is-

I really like the JP champion style I bought from them
I'm not a fan of the JB Champion design personally, but that aside, all their stuff is top quality, they use solid end links which fit perfectly unlike the folded ones on the original Omega designs which can require some fettling. I am now seriously considering a 1450 and a spare pair of end links even though I have no immediate use for it!
The 1450 is sold out in 20mm now.

In answer to my own question it seems the pre-2018 will fit. Found a thread on WUW where someone had polished their Forstner 1450. Looked very good.

Mine arrived this morning. It is a pre 2018 Seamster 300 which fits my 8500 PO fine. The end links are a little thin, but that was always the case on older Omegas only the lugs curved in towards the end link.
I have only had it on for a few minutes, but wow, what a difference. The original PO bracelet is so heavy,thin, bulky....this is such an improvement. Very pleased.
Might get one for my vintage SM300.
