    Magnifying Work Light

    Try again lol

I would like a desktop magnifier with built in light to do occasional fine detail work. I like to solder and repair small items, drilling and fine filing, that sort of thing. As this is a watch forum I'm sure there are a few of you who use them.
Is this any good for example?

It will be a xmas present and budget under £30

    Any recommendations?

I find magnifying glasses better to work with; only having one lens messes with my depth perception I think.

I did buy some with built in lights like this

YOCTOSUN Hands Free Headband Magnifier with LED Light -1X to 3.5X Zoom with 5 Detachable Lenses-Head Mounted Head Magnifying Glasses with Light for Reading, Jewelry Loupe, Watch, Electronic Repair https://amzn.eu/04bkKRw

But I actually prefer just to use strong reading glasses and good lighting.

This.. my worklight is a 30w LED floodlight, the outdoor type.

For me it is a battle between lighting and lenses but the light makes the biggest gain and a standard watchmaker loupe is my only other device.

I dont want to think about the ammount of money I have spent on lighty mag devices, there are none of them hit the mark and are mostly useless.
