    Tag Heuer x Mario Kart

My 6 year old is obsessed with this but 3.5k for Mario. That's just madness.

Agree...that's got to appeal to a seriously small number of individuals. I used to be addicted to Mario Kart Tour and played daily for years. Still wouldn't buy this watch!

    £3.5k? Pah!

How about £21k for the Tourbillon? You’ve got to reaaally like Mario Kart for that. 😳

It's cool I'll give them that, gaming is very current but a 3.5 k Mario Kart watch

This is the sort of thing I'd expect in a few hundred quids worth of Seiko special edition

Not for me but I won't deny that it is different and still a cool thing, just an eye watering price

    Tag Heuer x Mario Kart

Trying to go the Snoopy angle?

But, Mario has zero association with Tag

These look shockingly shocking, they’re just so busy. I would love to see Tag Heuer return to great looking, sober racing timers - but they need to get the case sizing (both diameter and height) back to the land of reality.

Taking a risk and being fun I suppose, however the 2 variants are shockingly expensive for what they are. I possibly would consider the F1 but not at £3.5K

The execution is pretty lazy too. Just slap a picture of Mario on a kart on the dial and put a star in the date wheel. At least the millions of Seiko 5 collabs involve more considered changes

    Tag Heuer x Mario Kart

Modern life is confusing to this middle aged man. Do young people think wristwatches are made by hand of unobtanium in special laboratories in incredibly limited numbers, involving magic and alchemy? Or are they financial mugs? Seriously , the formula 1 is a £1500 watch tops, as for the other one…….. no wonder they can’t afford to buy houses when they’re obsessed with this kind of Franklin mint level tat. And breathe!

Agree I love my cal 17 but the big cases aren't always practical, best ones I have are the smaller 36-39mm cases they just look better

It is a fun watch for 1.5k indeed.
Unfortunately tag seems to be all over the place under its new leadership.
    Things were clearer with Biver.
Sad, considering the heritage, the history and the back catalog they have.
I will stick to my Autavias I guess.

I signed up out of curiosity. Got the email and checked the website 9 minutes later, already looks to be sold out online.

I suspect the demand for this will be pretty high as it's only 3000 worldwide. Already some on eBay of course.

Probably Snoopy speculators. I've always loved MarioKart but not a fan of this watch, not very imaginative(even a banana skin would have loved better in the subdial) and just looks childish imo.

    False start for me.

My sentiments exactly, I really do not get it on any level.

    Tag Heuer x Mario Kart

It doesn’t have enough Mario detail to capture my money and should be around the 2500 price point for this laxidaisy effort
