It is based on the Rodania Geometer, a chronograph that pre-dated the Speedmaster by a few years and is seen as being almost all of the inspiration for the Speedie dial design.
Original Rodanias are vanishingly rare, very sought after and now very pricey.

I love the watch, and their Uni-racer too, but have mixed feelings about spending £3k on what is essentially a super-homage. While I like the idea of a faithful recreation of something that is virtually unobtainable, meticulously made, brand new and with 'proper watch' quality, I can't bring myself to pay a 'proper watch' price.

Clearly I'm wrong as they've sold out, and in the end it's a small run of something niche. I may just be out of synch with the price of watches these days, I suppose it's half what a lot of new quality watches cost, but they all seem to cost twice as much as I'd like too.

I really like it but it is rather expensive. Challenging established brands at that level. Also, the logo reminds me of the Rodania logo.

At a glance the hands look the same length.

Nice watch, but wouldn't be practical for me telling the time.
