Nice! Proper colour in the woods! . Sounds cynical perhaps, but I really love it. My 2001 Jimmy sailed through the (Dutch) MoT yesterday - without a problem.

Know nothing about its capabilities but I like the mini G Wagen look and the colour works for me. Let us know how you get on with it.

One of the pickers-up on our shoot has one of these.
Decent tyres on and weighs the same as a fag packet,
It Really is a “go anywhere” little truck.

    Are they robust?
    Will they survive moderate offroading?
I need a car for FieldSports where I am in forests on tracks and in fields. Not going to do any 4x4 rock climbing, and the rest of the participants have Defender 90s and 110s.

Is it made of wet paper?

They are great and in the right hands will go toe to toe with Defenders on most terrains.

Many years ago I had a Land Rover Series 3. I went to one of those events where you go up and down steep hills and splash about in deep mud and water for fun. There was a deep, wet, muddy pit where Land Rovers kept getting stuck. The boys loved that, leapt in to recovery mode, winches, ropes, high lift jacks, all sorts of tackle out to drag the sad looking Landies out of the mud. The Suzukis and Lada Nivas disappeared down the hole and immediately popped out with a cheeky zest, not one had a problem.

I hired a Suzuki in the Kimberley Mountains in north Western Australia. End of the wet season with flash floods and over flowing rivers cutting roads. At one river, I was waiting in a line of vehicles for several hours for a flood across the road to subside. The traffic started to move, there was still fast flowing water crossing the road but vehicles were fording the water. I decided to give it a go. In to 4WD and onwards. The Suzuki lifted right up, it felt like floating on air. I dropped speed, closed my eyes. gripped the steering wheel, prayed for my sins as I pictured being swept off the road into a crocodile infested river. I swear it felt like the spinning wheels propelled me through the water. I made it to the other side, shat myself and promised to be a good boy for the rest of my life. Never been so alone and frightened.

    They are light.

Used to get a lift sometimes between work and home in Jeddah across the city. Bloody misery. Hot, cramped, noisy, uncomfortable, although my mate's constant ranting, hand constantly on the horn and very heavy breaking didn't help. Needed a few shots of Sidique and 7-Up when I got in to recover.

Not if the T6 doesn't sell, apparently they do look cute/cool/fun and it looks great in that colour but I'd have to need the 4wd capability to choose one over something like a Tiguan/Karoq.

I agree. Pottering around they are great. Not so good on long journeys / motorway
