Anyone have any experience with angled cooker hoods?

Boring I know, but looking at replacing the one we inherited with the house when we moved in, because being 6'5" and it being installed at just under a foot lower means I'm pretty much incapable of using anything on the back burners without smashing my head into the edge, similarly any prep work next to it is pretty risky so I've been looking at the angled offerings as this (I assume) will let me use my existing fitment height so I don't then have a gap between the tiles and hood bottom. It's only 68cm from the top of the cooker (gas) which I believe is too low in any case as it should be a minimum of 75cm.

Any pros/cons I need to be looking into or any recommendations? Starting prices look cheap for generic models but assume I want one with a decent airflow, but not really in the market to be spending what the named brands seem to want to charge so is there a happy middle ground on these, the currently installed one is a Caple who I'd never heard of but seem to have a broad budget-to-midrange offering and from the quick look I've done Klarstein models look good but again, unknown to me.

We had an AEG installed when the kitchen was refitted. Very happy with it. Amongst features it has easily removed filter panels that go in the dishwasher. 5 speeds, but rarely need to go higher than speed 2. Definitely would recommend if it fits the bill dimensionally.
