    Slice of 70s goodness

I do like ‘different’ - as is well documented in my SOTC. I’ve been looking for a large size Expandro bracelet for some time now with the correct lug size etc. Anyway, managed by. Chanced to find one on the bay of E and it arrived today, here it is installed on my Pogue - a true slice of 70’s flavour, other opinions may vary……

What a combo - love it

Ironic, when someone really does find the perfect strap/bracelet - it never appears in the thread so-titled!

Love the Pogue, but those gaps in the bracelet and at the lugs, not for me ... Maybe it's generational (I'm too young to remember the 70s).

If you can remember the 70s you weren't really there.

Lots of love for 70s Seikos, such iconic designs.

I would imagine that on a very hairy 70s wrist.

That model was what 'most' seafarers bought at the tax-free stores in Japan in the early '70s.

By mid '70s - they had progressed to the Seiko SpeedTimer (Bullhead).

I'm not so keen on that bracelet, but the Pogue (no idea where that nickname came from) was defo a significant watch.
