Hi all
I bought this box recently. I'm not sure if it's fake or not. Reason being the suede doesn't feel as soft as another I have. Although the other is the later style with fold down flap. What do you think from the photos?

Looks OK to me.Does the box snap tightly shut? Fakes feel cheap in comparison.Only thing I am not 100% sure of is the crown on box outer.There are a couple of youtube videos explaining real/fake boxes - check them out.

I once had a really dodgy fake which stunk really strongly.

The way I always spotted a fake was the original boxes have a certain faint vanilla scent to them that the fakes don’t.
Glad to add intellectual content based on experience x

The box with this watch on eBay is an obvious fake. The felt lining is slightly rougher than real Rolex. Also, the gold Rolex crown and name on the inside of the lid looks poorly done by comparison. The semi circular shape round that also looks slightly imperfect.
