Shocking news. 52 is no age.

    Best cricketer I’ve seen.

Was at old Trafford for the Gatting wicket.

    52 is no age

One of the worlds best bowlers ever seen, and in my opinion that one bowl that got Gatting out was
    ‘the best ball’ ever balled

“great ball Warney” was all you seemed to hear when he was playing, a true legend.

    RIP Shane

I spent an evening with him once at the Pitcher & Piano in Southampton, a legendary swordsman.

I went out this morning after reading all the Rod Marsh tributes on the BBC web site, and there was a very nice one (tweeted) from Warne.

What a shock to get home and find out that he's gone too .. and only 52 !

    RIP Marshy and Warney.

Who's the first batsman up there to get out st Marsh b Warne I wonder ...

Sad news indeed. Far too young. RIP Warney.

Really upset by this. A true great.

I was at his first Test, in Sydney against India.

Tweeted just 17 hours ago. You never know what's around the next corner.
