    Apple Watch conundrum

Just received an Apple Watch cellular from a buyer on the forum but it is saying it is locked to owner. Seller said it is unpaired but obviously can’t be. Any suggestions to what seller can do as he said it is unpaired……

    Thanks

This. Had this happen before when passing on my old one to step son.

If seller visits iPhone settings > iCloud account > devices and remove?

The easiesway I think is to check their phone
Settings - just click on their name at the top and at the bottom it should list all of their devices
They can then remove the watch if it’s there

    See above
You should see something like this
If the Apple Watch you’ve sold is on the list, click on it and remove (remove from account)

A bit like that and what he said - if it's showing up click on it and "Remove from account" should be in red at the bottom.

Thing is I’ve already deleted, the watch is not on there anymore

Presume you removed the activation lock before you sent it?

Wes, you’re keeping Apple in business with that list!

I had similar with my sons watch too, have you tried removing it from ‘Find My’ section?

I could not live with the old devices still showing, would bug me to bits :)
