I paid £4.8k on sale for this Zenith back in April, and thought I’d got a bargain then. At £3950 it’s a steel.

I’m hoping someone does really good discount on a MM300. A while back someone (think maybe watchnation) has the limited mm300 green one for £2000! Should of picked that up then! So hoping someone does similar

I've been on every site I know and have been pretty disappointed with whats on offer. Seems to always be the same models or some pretty poor discounts. I was after a white or silver faced dress watch, any brand...something like a Longines 1832 or Flagship but I've not really seen anything suitable.

Yes, slim pickings this year. Unless in the market for ML Aikon or two tone BB!

I had a quick look at Jura, they seem to have the same watches for sale every year. As someone else said, if you are looking for a ML Aikon or Longines or really horrible looking Graham watch you are quids in.

I've seen nothing interesting in the sale that hadn't been reduced already. HSamuels have some seiko and Citizen deals on but they are either "out of stock" (and have been for months - how are they allowed to advertise these as reduced if they have not been available for ages?) or they are crap watches they can't get rid of.

If you can get a decent discount on a watch in todays market, it means very few other people want it because there is better stuff out there. Also you can get your bottom dollar that this unwanted model will devalue and you can pick up a good pre owned one quite easily.

I’m sure this applies in the Swiss multi thousand pounds watches as an investment sector, not sure the same thing applies in the shallow/fun/cheap end tbh

Indeed, the watch Wileeeeeey points a few posts earlier is a case in point. A King Turtle for £308 is a superb watch for that price, and will always be a great buy for a new owner, whether he keeps it forever or sells it on. A concept the multi thousand pounds equals quality- my AD crowd cannot comprehend

Anyone else think the Longines Heritage Chronograph Tuxedo is a steal at £1750? Cheapest k can find on Chrono24 seem to be going for hair under £2k for used. Personally think the chrono is very pretty as well.

    That's a proper steel.

I managed to pick up a Seiko Shogun White dial Titanium divers new from a local goldsmiths for half price this morning. Looked at one when they came out, really nice but expensive. Half price feels a bargain. On my wrist all day, love it.

£4690 for the 42mm Zenith El Primero seems pretty good (RRP £6700)

They also have £1000 off a Bremont Supermarine S2000 yellow and black for £3145

Wow £308 is absolutely bargain for this. I paid £412 about 2 months ago and thought that was a good deal.

I'd second that recommendation too. I bought one off Amazon that wasn't Mirage branded but very similar (wouldn't surprise me if it comes out of the same factory). The functionality is excellent with the slide in cushions and flat bottom base. Bargain for under £25 when using the 6% off voucher - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B088M4RXFK/
