    Spinnaker watches?

This has probably been asked before, but what’s the forum consensus on Spinnaker watches? This popped up on Instagram (of all places) and I quite fancy it, especially with 25% off. Quite SHOM-esque?

Can’t go wrong at that price with the 25% off too. Good size, 48mm across is manageable.

I'm tempted by the Dumas, only hesitation is, do I need another watch, but, the yellow faced one is calling me.

That is a handsome watch. I quite like the brand’s styling.

Robust NH35 movements (usually), interesting dials, usually heavily discounted, what's not to like?
I have a Hull California dial and it did take me a while to bond with it - mainly due to the dog of a strap, it's now on a half decent Burton strap and it's in my regular rotation still.

Some criticism that the dials look cheap, but I think they're different and unusual for the really quite reasonable prices.

I bought a Hull Chronograph recently and it's a decent enough watch for the price.

I'm wearing a 'Bradner' in tidal blue today. I'd agree with the dial not looking premium, I think if it had a printed logo instead of the raised metal one, it would be better, but that's my only grumble. I do like the internal, lumed, transparent rotating bezel.

I had one of these, now sold on but did like it and do regret letting it go.

Got mine from SC last year, planned on using it as a tester before I went for a Tudor Bronze. Still using the Spinnaker daily and not looking for a Tudor.

Good call. Sadly not the one I’m interested in.
